Simplifying my Life: How do I Know What Should Go?

  • Is this  congruent with my biblical beliefs and values?
  • Does this get in the way of worshiping or serving God?
  • Should someone else be doing this (because it is their responsibility or calling)?
  • Does this represent well to others what being a disciple of Jesus is like?
  • Do I have time to do this in the context of a healthy, balanced life?
  • Does this help me grow, or hinder my growth?
  • Does it bring godly joy and peace?
  • Does this help me develop my gifts?
  • Is this bearing fruit, or is it likely to bear fruit, for God’s kingdom?
